We recently moved to Rocky Point from Wilmington, and I was looking for a playground to take my daughter to. This one in Castle Hayne came up in my Google search so we checked it out. It's brand new, and the play structure is fairly large. It has slides for both toddlers and older children, plus merry go round and swings. My two year old loves it! She goes down all the slides so there's a lot for her to do. There are picnic tables, benches, and bathrooms, plus trees for shade. They recently planted grass, and because it hasn't fully grown in yet it can get a little muddy if it's just rained. The playground itself is surrounded by mulch so mud isn't a problem around the play area. This has become our new go to park!
